Tuesday, July 26, 2011 Been reading a lot of bad crap about Iron Man 2 recently, even though the movie was released like a year ago. Most people say it's not a proper movie and that it didn't have a proper plot. I thought the 2nd movie revealed a lot more about Tony Stark as the man behind the suit, and was more true to the character than the first. Plus it had more of a plot than all three Twilight movies combined. Not that that's a valid argument for any movie. Anyway, 2011 has been a year of interesting discoveries, television wise. Major finds this year include No Ordinary Family, Criminal Minds 6, Graham Norton Show, Being Human, Nikita and, of course, The Avengers cartoon. I really love TV, and this year has been an awesome television experience--though I must say it's annoying that all the good shows take place at one particular timeframe. It's annoying to have absolutely nothing to watch in the afternoon, then not be able to tear my eyes away from the screen for 3 hours in the evening. Haha, but oh well. Speaking of The Avengers, the show just gets better and better. A lot of tie-ins and cameos everywhere. It stays very true to the comics and the characterisations are perfect. If this is what they're dishing out on the small screen, I can't wait for the Cap and Avengers movies. That's it for my tv-crazed rant. Till next time I guess =) |
