I did what I said I would. At first it was simple, and I thought for a moment it was good. Now I'm having second thoughts, and today I woke up regretting.

Things have changed. I've set something between us that may demolish a friendship. But I tried. Just like I tried to pass SOC. Just like I tried to obtain my Silver. Or the GAMBIT internship. Or that summer job. Tried. Perhaps not hard enough.

Is it my own paranoia, or has the awkwardness set in already, making this impossible to mend? I can vaguely recall now, the pain of adolescent years, of crushes and puppy love. Break-ups, and friends I haven't spoken to for the longest time.

You are family. I should have remembered that, should have weighed the cost and risks. But oh, what if it works out? It would be worth everything. Forgive me if it doesn't; I just had to give it a shot.

Trust? It's difficult, that's for sure. I'll try to. Yet again.
